Jacci Detert joins us

We are pleased to welcome Jacci Detert, who has joined the stable as an assistant trainer.
Jacci brings extensive international experience to the yard.
She started her career as an assistant to Patrick Shaw at Randjesfontein, between 1992 and 1994, and worked for the succesful Shaw stable in Singapore between 2003 and 2018.
During this time she was Shaw's traveling assistant and campaigned successfully with champion sprinter Rocket Man in Dubai, Hong Kong and Japan.
When Shaw retired, Jacci joined Ricky Le Grange as assistant at Kranji until 2024, when Singapore Racing closed down.

Jacci spent 2025 behind the books and obtained an International Certificate in Equine Data Analysis.
She will be starting at Randjesfontein before moving to Summerveld and said: "I am excited about this opportunity and look foward to working with Team De Kock!"
