Runners at HWB Scottsville, 29 July

Lucky Fish ambassadors Mike and Mathew de Kock head to Hollywoodbets Scottsville with high hopes today, sending out three runners for Hollywood Racing. They are all well fancied to make their presence felt in their respective races.

Mike said that Scots Wae Hae (Race 1, 1000m) had a minor setback with lameness after his impressive debut, but he’s back and has been working very well. “We’ve done as much as we can, he should run a good race.”

Gimme A Fireball (Race 2, 1200m) worked steadily into third on his 1000m debut at this course in May and Mike said: “He is a coltish type, temperamental and not straightforward, but he has a lot of talent and we’re expecting him to be right there. He’s had a bit of a freshen up and we’ve worked on his issues.”

Sparrow Man (Race 3) takes a quick step up to 1600m after running on nicely on his 1100m debut. He’s a good-looking horse with ability and Mike commented: “He’s a big galloper and in a good space. The mile should be up his alley. What beats him, wins.”
