Runners at TAB Turffontein

Lucky Fish ambassadors Mike and Mathew de Kock send out four runners, including three first-timers, at TAB Turffontein today.

Here are Mat’s comments:

Race 1, 1200m:

“Kalahari Kid has put up some good sand work, enough to suggest that he can be competitive if he is not too green. He has plenty of room for improvement.”

Race 2, 1200m:

“Cherokee Rose, like Kalahari Kid, has shown us pleasing work and can get into the action if she is not affected by greenness.

“Lady Assassin will need the run. She’s a big filly, will tighten up and will be better over further.”

Race 4, 1000m:

“Exocet ran below expectations last time, but he may have disliked the soft track. If he bounces back to his best – and we think he will – he has a strong winning chance.”
