Turffontein runners, 11 June

Here are Lucky Fish ambassadors Mike and Mathew de Kock’s runner comments for today’s Turffontein race meeting.

Race 2, 1600m: “We’re stepping Feast Of Berries up to 1600m after her 1160m debut because we think she will enjoy the extra. She has a bit of a sticky gate, so Callan will have to ride a smart race, but she is doing well and is a big runner.”

Race 6, 1000m: “Miss Argonaut returns from a long rest. She won over this course and distance when she came here almost a year ago, but she’d had a run under the belt on that occasion. She will be naturally in need of the run, but she is a filly with ability and we’d like to see her run over the top of them late. Include her in all bets.”
