Three new runners for Global Stable
Saturday, 31 Oct 2026

Vermaak Equine was active at the Tattersalls Autumn Horses In Training Sale held at Newmarket this week, purchasing three select lots for the Global Racing Stable.
They are set to compete for the De Kock Racing team in Dubai and possibly elsewhere in 2027.
Global Stable had set their sights on acquiring turf horses with plenty of racing options throughout the 2027 Dubai Carnival and beyond, and Justin Vermaak said: “With our two leading dirt horses for the three-year-old races already in place, the plan was to target quality horses who can race on turf during the Carnival.
“Overall, we feel we’ve made some very exciting investments: horses with immediate opportunities in Dubai, but also the potential to remain part of the team for future Carnivals.”
Vermaak commented: “Noble Horizon is by Kingman out of a champion Galileo mare who happens to be an own sister to Nathaniel (IRE), the renowned stallion.
“Noble Horizon is a high-quality gelding who enjoys firm ground and excels over 2,000m. He likes to race handy, has a good turn of foot and should suit the racing surfaces in Dubai. Off a rating of 97, he has a host of handicap options. If he settles into the region and wins a race or two, he could earn his way into some of the Group races,” added Vermaak.
The two other purchases, Egoli (GB – Lot 1157) and Rupert The Brave (IRE – Lot 1126), were made late on Day Three.
