Runner comments for TAB Turffontein, 24 October 2026

Lucky Fish ambassadors Mike and Mathew de Kock’s comments for their four runners on the standside track at TAB Turffontein today, are:

Race 1,1600m: “Fire At Will was disappointing on his debut, finished way back. He has made improvement at home and with blinkers on he is expected to focus better. An improved run is expected.”

Race 3, 2000m: “Aladdin’s Lamp appeared to lack interest in his comeback run a few weeks ago, which was unlike him. He may have been a bit ring-rusty. He’s probably the only genuine 2000m horse in the race and that will be to his benefit. He has a winning chance. Top Floor is way out at the weights, hoping for a good run from him in this higher league.”

Race 8, 1160m: “Staggerwing is flying at home, she’s in top form. We have Candice and Tammy Dawson’s filly to beat, but expecting to go close.”
