Runner comments, HWB Greyville, 4 November

De Kock Racing comments are powered by Lucky Fish:

Race 2, 1400m: “Mega Awesome and Shabeen Queen are battling Maidens in an Open Maiden Handicap. This is the right class for them. They’ve both had a try on the Poly. Mega Awesome ran a fair race last time and should give a good account. But no confidence to give.

Race 3, 1400m: “A Good Heart has enjoyed a good break. She is a lot better than her form suggests. This is her first time on the Poly, not sure if she will take to it. Heal and Soul is working pretty well after his rest. This is also his first Poly start so we’re hoping he enjoys it. Penny’s Choice won well on the Poly last time and has a light weight and a good draw. For that, she can’t be ignored. These races are hard to call, not easy to find winners.”

Race 5, 1000m: “Scots Wae Hae has been gelded. He is good form at home and should be competitive, though again the Polytrack is a question mark.”

Race 6, 1200m: “Gallic King beat a weak field when winning his Maiden and his post-Maiden run was ordinary. Angel’s Oasis has proven herself on the Poly, she is in decent form and ran a nice race in this class last time. She warrants inclusion.”

Please note that Jeff Syster is not riding today. Keagan de Melo will not ride in races 7 and 8 for family responsibility reasons.
