Two runners on Gold Cup Day

Mike de Kock comments as follows on the stable's Gold Cup Day runners at Hollywoodbets Greyville:

Race 1, 1600m: "Captain West is not a 20-1 shot, you can draw a line through his last run. We had a game plan last time, but he was drawn in the bush and had no luck in running. He is drawn well this time, has had a great prep and I expect him to finish in the money."

Race 8, 1800m: "It's two years since Dave The King won this race in good style. But I still find him in good form at home. He is one of those horses that needs things to go his own way to run really well and we're hoping that can happen. I cannot fault his well-being, he is ready for a good run."
